2013. Film, BFK Rives Paper, inkjet print and light box.
Site-specific installation comprised of studies on texture and composition made by blocking both reflective and projected light. Starting out from cuttings of printed transparencies and tape, they commemorate the almost extinct job/profession of film cutting in the printing/graphic design industry, a job that was replaced by digital technology. The results of this experimentation are a digital print displayed as a wallpaper wrapping a column, a framed intaglio solar-print, a back-lit print on transparency, and the original collage made out of translucent materials.
